I understand that the washer came loose (don’t know what went wrong there) but good news is the bolt seems to be ok. @Jerry Bransford can you tell from these close up photos?Redneck fix, Greek edition.

The inner threads seem a bit boogered up but it couldn't hurt to try installing a fresh 1/2-20 nut and washer. Or buy a new SS stud kit like https://www.morris4x4center.com/rub...37r99mkcttixoZ38c4rabnDZWdE29iixoCfpgQAvD_BwEI understand that the washer came loose (don’t know what went wrong there) but good news is the bolt seems to be ok. @Jerry Bransford can you tell from these close up photos?

Yes though first I'd just go buy a 1/2-20 nut and washer and try that first. Thanks Jerry. Will get one of those. Do you know if it will fit the currentlync bracket?
If that Fox steering damper is gas charged I personally wouldn't install it. Because gas-charged shocks are always trying to expand, gas-charged steering dampers constantly exert a push on the steering that can cause it to always want to steer left. Some worse than others. All you need for a good steering damper is a very basic hydraulic shock like Monroe or Rancho R5000 damper kits.Let me chime in here on the Currectlync system and steering stabilizer setup. I installed all new currie short arms, tie rods, currectlync, Fox 2.0's, etc. Within 2 weeks my ball joint to pitman arm on the currectlync blew out. Pulled it apart and it was like a wet noodle with grinding. Gone... I was upset, called Summit where I bought it from and they were fantastic. Overnighted a new currectlync system to get me back on the road. Installed the new system and decided to call RockJock to ask them about why that joint could have failed. Had a great conversation and it turns out that you CANNOT USE A POWERED GREASE GUN on those joints.
During this drama, I realized my old steering dampner was shot (jamming). I pulled it off and am waiting for a new fox shock to arrive (couldn't resist the bling as I'm running fox reserviours already). My LJR is driving perfectly straight with no shock, but any type of bump or road undulation is moving the steering somewhat and the driving experienced has completely changed with no shock. Running 35's with 4" lift.
Hoping the new steering dampner shock will help but I also am changing out the rear with a new Metalcloak stabilizer bar as the current one has stripped threads and is not locked in tight. Just a FYI!
RockJock was truly great to work with and Summit was an absolute champ.

I agree that a basic steering damper shock is fine. The fox is middle neutral and allows for adjustments on how it responds to right or left input from the steering system. It will be interesting to see how it performs. I'll post my thoughts after I have some miles on it!
Which Fox damper is this? I had one on mine prior to the hydro assist. It was gas charged, though I never felt it in the steering wheel. Nothing on it was adjustable beyond the gas charge that I had reasons to leave alone. What I did really like was how heavy of a damper it was.
