I bought an 04 TJ about a year ago. Shortly after, I got the death wobble issue. After researching here & other places I traced it to the track bar bushing. I replaced the bushing with a 2 piece bushing set. Problem solved & everything was great for about 6 months. Couple of weeks ago my death wobble came back. I pulled track bar & noticed bushing sleeve again had an oval spot. I purchased a new 2 piece bushing set from different manufacturer that looks more heavy duty. Installed new bushing kit & still had death wobble although at a slightly higher speed range. Trying to find a solution, I temporarily loosened bolt that goes thru track bar bushing about 1/2 turn. It improved the wobble probably about 75% but was still there just not as severe. I did some more research & others are saying that the bolt needs to be super tight so I tightened bolt to point I was afraid of breaking it. Now the wobble is much more severe! I wouldn't think leaving the bolt slightly loose, even with locknut or double nutting to be sure it wouldn't back off, would be a good solution & would cause premature wear. I've checked all other joints & front end components & lowered tire pressure. I also had new tires installed & alignment done before intial issue. Any thoughts on how to proceed? I still feel I have some type of track bar issue since whatever I do to it changes the degree of death wobble.

Toe it out by around 5/8", go drive it with the track bar bolt tight in places where you know it would exhibit DW previous, report back. But, if your front tires are not true and balanced, you will spend a lot of time chasing this issue without much success.
Thanks for the info. I'll set toe in (out) & drive. If still there will proceed to tire balance.
