Explain Your Avatar / Forum Name

Jay P is my initials (JP) and Jee P was my vision but looking back I would have been more creative.

I never replied to this. JMT are just my initials. My real name is Jackson Malarkey Tolbert. :D

This is my first forum to join, so not too creative. Past nicknames are many, one of which is Mr Accelerator. Now it’s The Jeep Guy

UpperMI is my forum name becasue its where I grew up. The beautiful upper peninsula of Michigan. It’s where I learned to off-road and just generally screw around in the woods. I should probably add an avatar. Maybe something that shows the landscape up there.

I thought after all this time I would post.

Coda - A concluding passage
Man - I'm Male

So why Coda? I'm a HUGE fan of the greatest Rock/Blues bad of all time and their last album was called Coda (a concluding passage). Even though it was an album of previously unreleased music and not nearly their best, it was their last "real" album.

I was wondering about yours....It makes sense now. :)

Led Zep, I assume? If you love Zep, pick up a cd called Encomium. It's various artists on a Led Zeppelin tribute album. Some of them do renditions that are true to Zep's performances of the songs, while others kind of "make it their own". I absolutely love that album, and recommend it to any Led Zeppelin fan. I'm not usually a tribute album fan, but this one is a step above, IMHO. You can get a taste of it on YouTube for an idea of what I'm talking about. :)

You got it. Saw them live in '77

I'll have to look up that music. There is also an all female tribute band from the East Coast called Lez Zeppelin. We've seem them a few times and they do a great job with Zeppelin's music.

Zep, CCR, and the Beatles were always my top bands. Very different from one another, but all fantastic.

Thos. is a contraction of my first name Thomas. The Dr part is because I have a bunch of mail order degrees from the Universal Life Church ... Doctor of Divinity, Doctor of Theology, and a PhD in Parapsychology (like in Ghostbusters!) and of course a ministers license. all because my check cleared! and yes I can perform marriage ceremonies.
My avatar is the first picture I ever took of my (new to me) Jeep.

Do you have an Unlicensed Nuclear Accelerator?

'Skully' is a nickname a bar manager gave me once. No idea why, but it immediately stuck. To this day almost 30 years later, most of my closest friends don't even know my real name. It's rare that my name is still available on a site to use as a username, but apparently I'm the only Skully here.

The avatar is just my standard default social media picture. I would replace it with a Jeep picture but most of mine are pre-digital and not great quality. TJ's been parked and neglected for a few years so I never took any new pics. Now that he's back in shape I'll have to take some once the top is off and I get him back off pavement.
