Parking light trouble

Hi all,
Hope your day is great!

Hoping for a little help here.

So my problems started when we plugged in a new trailor.
It's threw out all the rear lights.

Once unplugged there only remaining issue was the parker lights would turn off when the headlights where turned on.

Then then stopped all together and I discovered it was a blown fuse.
Fixed the fuse.

And now the parker lights will not turn on at all.

Lights are not original they are LED.

Any help is appreciated.
From my current research possible to replace the break switch? But would this effect the parker lights?

It is possible the trailer wiring is bad and damaged all the LED bulbs, but you’d think the fuse would have prevented that. I don’t believe the brake light switch would have anything to do with this, I’d be considering the damaged bulbs, possibly burnt up headlight switch, bad ground or maybe recheck that fuse you replaced. Could have bad connection or something else caused it to pop again.
So many lighting and hard to solve problems electrical issues turn out to be a bad ground.

Thanks for the considered reply :)
I did also redo the ground as i thought this may have been an issue. After my post i ended up pulling more things apart and found the headlight switch to be burnt out. So hopefully this fixes the issue. I am trying to find a replacement online now, this is the best i can find online - https://mypartsuniverse.com/products/smp-s-720-headlight-switch-connector

Thanks for the info.
As it just appears the connector is burnt out the switch itself looks fine.
Should i still replace both?

I would replace the connector and the switch....
The burned connector is caused by too much load on the circuit.
Do you have any additional lights on that circuit ?
Higher wattage headlights or additional lights connected to the headlights wiring ?
Whatever that caused the burned connector needs to be corrected or the problem will reoccur.

Okay excellent i will order both, thank you.
Yes i installed new additional high beam lights, they have been in for like a year without any issue.
And all of the lights are replaces with LEDs.

The issue starter when i plugged in a new camper trailor, so i am assuming there issue lies there?

Probably.

Best way to know is an ammeter. A clamping ammeter would allow you to measure amperage without cutting wires.

More than likely you'll need to add relays to that trailer connector.

Hi All, just a little update.
I got the replacement parts and unfortunately it did not solve the issue. Still cannot seem to get the running lights to work.

Hi Mac,

I actually replaced that first, as initially i thought it was the issue.

Thinking it may be time to take it to an auto electrician.

Have you downloaded the FSM and the wiring diagrams?

The secret is finding the splice points and connectors and following the voltage from the battery, to the PDC and fuse, headlight switch, multifunction switch and then out to the lights.
