Speedometer is still fast after changing speedo gear

Looks like he's riding on 20's.
Probably not a lot of sidewall flex. :ROFLMAO:

Yep. 20’s. But since I only gave the guy $200 for them and they look decent on the jeep I really don’t care.

I look at my speedometer occasionally. The last time it was officially calibrated it was dead on. Ticket for reckless driving (20+ miles over the speed limit) told me so.

Until I sort out why it’s running lean AF and causing the manifold to run cherry red the speedo is pretty useless anyway. After about 10 miles the bastard will do good to run 55 cause it’s running rich and too damn hot.

What are your fuel trims?

The 2.5l manifold can crack on the block side and make it very hard to see. Something is tricking it

Last night at idle it was -16 to -20 and cleaned up to -8 to -12 on the road. Good info on the manifold. I may drive it to the shop tomorrow and smoke it and see if I see a crack. If I do I’ll order a header. I know there’s no performance gains with a header but at least I can drop some weight from the cast iron manifold 🤷🏼‍♂️or are you talking about the intake manifold ? I did the old shade tree carb spray around the intake and TB and didn’t note any changes in idle RPM but if the crack doesn’t open until hot I guess that wouldn’t be an accurate indication.
