Hello, 1997 TJ and need help diagnosing this issue, was driving Jeep home from work and out of no where it started to rock some while driving and the engine sounded like it was going to give out. Took it home and replaced the spark plugs and wires. Still is having issues with rpm and and rough driving, the engine as well doesn’t sound too good. Any ideas or pointers of where to start? Not sure if it applies for 1997, but if you turn your key from off to on 3 times in a row (not to starting) and it will display the codes in the odometer
If you’re gonna own a jeep, you may as well invest in a decent code reader. You’re gonna use it.
