Rattling sound when I rev

Ok this is gonna sound stupid. Say there’s a fella, and said fella does a reverse burnout in 4.0 liter 2002 TJ. Hears a loud snapping/pop sound Said burnout ruins front diff and car has a rattling sound when reving in 1st, 2nd and reverse. Said fella fixes diff but jeep still has rattling sound. Any of y’all know what it is? For a friend of course. Cause what kind of idiot does a reverse burnout.

If it's not affecting engine performance I would guess it's just a loose part. Time to get out the stethoscope!

That's the "said fella's" walnut sized brain rattling around is his big head.

Two questions, one statement:

1: Did you at bare-ass minimum get a video of this "friend" fella doing the burnout?
2: Without hearing audio from the aftermath of what said fella did, it's damn near impossible to say.

Never refer to a TJ as a car, that's reserved for Stelantis products.

Was this a reverse burnout done with 4WD engaged? Dunno how the front diff would be affected otherwise, but too much information is a lot better than not enough information.

Also, automatic or manual transmission?

this is the weird part cause it was in 2wd so I wonder if the transfer case is messed up. Also it’s a manual.
