Washington Is it legal in Washington to drive with the doors off?

That ticket is BS. I just took my daughter down to the 911 Driving School in Spokane, WA. She takes her driving test on Tuesday of next week. I took a pic of the page they gave her with information that indicates driving with doors off WHILE TAKING THE STATE DRIVING TEST in WA is totally legal.

I don't care where you go, what state you live in or anything. It should be illegal to drive without doors on any vehicle
What would happen if you got into a side collision where the door is? I'd hate to see what would happen if you got, if you got into where. There's really huge rocks and your your cheap rolls to the side. I hate to see so it should be highly illegal to have any vehicles without doors
Supposedly it's illegal for people to walk on the sidewalk side of the fight lines, so it should be illegal for commercial vehicles of any kind to park in the left turn lane and for any kind of car to drive without doors

I don't think the government should be in the business of deciding whether driving with your doors off is legal or illegal.
Why would you want to centralize more power in the hands of people who are incompetent at anything and everything they do? I mean look how well they've done with Washington state, right?
The good news is that driving with the doors off is legal in most places. It looks like you're not going to be able to suck the fun out of owning a Jeep for the rest of us. Thank God for that!

No kidding, great first post, huh? This guy sounds like a miserable stick-in-the-mud. He should definitely run for office in Washington. Plenty of other folks of the same mindset in Washington who like to create regulatory legislation simply because they can.

I'm over 60 and have been riding in vehicles with either soft doors or NO DOORS for YEARS and I'm still here. Even rolled one or two of them... Your logic is a little skewed.
You can also drive with your windshield folded down so long as you have eye protection on.
Allow each of us to decide what risks we are willing to take instead of making "RULES" to dictate to us what we can or can't do... Same as those of us who choose to ride on 2 wheels... We each know the risks of venturing out onto the roads & all the distracted drivers who don't see us and the consequences of our choices.
Just really feeling thankful that you are not in charge.... But then again there are many like minded folks in Olympia whom you might fit in with better.
In his twisted mind he believes that it is the job of the government to keep you safe. You shouldn't have your own choice, it should be enforced by the rule of law. Like @Zorba always says, "cradle to the grave nanny state".
Believe me he isn't rare in this "F"d up state..... There are many many like minded folks currently in Olympia right now. We've become CA North and it's getting worse by the minute... The only problem now is that the tit of this nanny state is about to run dry.
All by their own doing too. All they want to do is spend your hard earned money until it's all dried up.
It's a sickness of the mind and soul, that's for sure. "Suicidal empathy" as Gad Saad aptly coined it.

We need that to work itself out, not have the government fix it

I wondered about that too.
I'm pretty sure he just came here to rant about all the different things he think should be illegal.
My guess is we'll never see him again.
