Not exactly what I think of when Sweeds are mentioned.
So, speaking of rebadging amongst the automakers, what else do you all recall as nothing more than a rebadge?
Let's start with the 1st-gen Honda Passport.

The late '90s-early '00s Ford Ranger / Mazda B series trucks always stick out to me. If I remember correctly, Mazda did this same partnership with Mitsubishi before the Ford partnership. Basically, Mazda can't build their own trucks.
A high school friend had a silver Mazda like the one above. I guess that's why they stand out to me.
Yup. Another one was the Chevy LUV being a rebadged Isuzu P'Up.

Do you remember people running "drag blocks" under cars and trucks, mostly mini trucks? I remember seeing them light up on the streets at night, and I remember magazines advertising different metal compounds to produce different colors.

I most definitely do remember the scrape/drag blocks! Only ever seen them being used in person one time. Thought I'd seen it another time in the middle of the night, but that turned out to be a drunk driver heading out of Seattle, running on a bare rim...
This needs to be "restored". Looks to be a decent job on the build. I've seen this kind of thing before, but this one I actually like!

It's definitely not, although you'll find some chicks with balls in one particular party

It is actually cool in the weirdest way possible. The build looks well done for amateur and built 50 years ago !
Stopped on the top of Snoqualmie pass. And these guys were pulling in.

And driving in the rain! I know some folks who don't even wash their cars with water, just detail spray.
I've seen and known a few like that, mostly Vette guys. I don't understand that philosophy. I understand these toys cost money, but cars were built to drive. If you don't drive them, it's just a participation trophy.
