Greetings!

I have a squeaky chittering chirp in the front end of my Jeep with a new serpentine belt, new belt tensioner and new idler pulley.

Only hear it when accelerating.

Did the sound start after you installed the new components ? Could be the CV joint in your front driveshaft. Search YouTube for sound clips of "angry sparrows "

Ensure the belt is tightened sufficiently. I recently replaced the belt and tensioner pulley and heard squeaking noises when I turned the AC on. Tightened the belt a bit more and the noise went away.

Sound started a week ago, mechanic replaced parts today, squeaking changed but didn't go away.

Check your back manifold bolt. I chased the same thing for a long time denying that was my issue. Rachet, 6" extension, and the socket and nothing but quiet since.

I'm 95% sure the noise is under the hood plus if you tap the gas while in park, it squeaks more.

Interesting! I'll figure out where that is and see what I can do. =)

This was a pretty accurate video for me. We have a bit more room in the Wrangler vs the GC but the 4.0 is the same.

Hope it is this simple for you too.
