I have replaced my stock front turn signal and marker lights with LED. I hope I explain this so everyone can understand.
If I do not turn on my headlights, turn signals work great and side markers blink sporadically.
When I turn on my headlights, the front turn signal does not work and the marker light blinks correctly; no hyper flash at any time.
When I unplug the side marker lights, the front turn signal works with the headlights on or off.
I did replace the headlights with KC LED's. Btw, they are fantastic.
I did not know that this was the situation until i took the LJ in for an annual inspection here in North Carolina.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had rogue behavior all the running & interior lights after installing LED replacement bulbs in the front turn signals....

Took a while to track it back to the bulbs. Replaced them with the OE bulbs and the light show stopped. The front turns are the only incandescent bulbs I have left on the Jeep.

Thanks for the help. I am going to have to find someone to give me a hand with this one. Above my pay grade. I will post when I get some resolution.

Two years ago I installed a set of rear LED tail lights, side markers and front turn signals.
I had problems with the directionals which I fixed, but still had problems with a buzzing when Emergency flashers were On.
Checked all the socket wiring and the wiring on the MFS; replaced the Flasher relay with a LM 470 relay that was supposed to work, but didn't.
Finally a forum member (Can't remember name) recommended to install a GCD-TJ0106 Off Road Only (DO124) relay which cured all the problems.

I swapped the relay out years ago. TJ just didn't like the LED turn signals.

Finally got around to working on my turn signals again. BTW, it is front signals only, rear has no issues. Here is what is going on:
With no lights on, turn signals work great, including side markers.
With headlights on, running lights work great, including side markers.
With all lights off (daytime driving), turn signal in front works great but side marker is weak and blinks sporadically.
With running lights only on, front signal will not blink but side marker blinks strong.
With headlights on, same thing as just running lights on. Front signals will not blink but side marker blinks strong.
NOW! If I unplug the side markers, I have no issues at all, except of course i have no side marker.
I thought I would share this again in more detail. The new front turn signals and side markers came as a package. I do not remember the brand but I will look it up. All of this was plug and play. The markers lights have two wires, a red and black that are on a flat blade connector into the original wiring connection.

Without going back to look - if these are LEDs, all bets are off. If they're conventional bulbs, its a grounding problem.

Looking at the factory wiring diagram for the the front signal/marker lights will make anyone hate engineers. It is crazy how they designed it. That's why LEDs dont work. The circuit reverses current flow and diodes don't allow that to happen.
