FIL had a 240Z. He wouldn't let me drive it cuz he saw how hard I flung my MG Midget around.

My neighbor had an orange 240Z back in the olden days.
He was on the Interstate, center car in a pack of 9, all going a couple MPH over the limit. A cop pushed his way into the pack and pulled Alan out of there and gave him a ticket. Of course Alan asked "why me?" and the cop said "your car looks faster than the others".I wish I had that problem now.

30 years ago, when I lived in Houston, I regularly rode the hill country roads around Austin with all my sport bike friends. Back then, there were miles and miles of smooth asphalt ribbon through farm country with minimal traffic. It was heaven. I’m sure its all developed now. Amazingly, I never got hurt or a ticket but we did get pulled over en mass a few times for a warning (including once when we were all stopped on the side of the road) because we “looked guilty”.
I feel very strongly that I should have this car. Daily driver shoe-in, the practicality speaks for itself, I think...
