The radiator in my 98 TJ started leaking recently. Looking at the usual suspects such as O’Reillys and AutoZone, etc., the reviews seem to be mixed on leaking. What’s a good resource for oem? Chrysler replacement radiator?

Northern Radiator , Denso and Koyorad have all been recommended . I installed a Koyorad last year , so far it's working fine in the Louisiana heat .

Where is it leaking from?
My top tank cracked on my 06 and I had a trusted radiator shop install a new one. It's still going strong 3-4 years later.
I also purchased a Koyorad as a back up too.
It appears to be leaking from the top tank on mine as well. Coolant is collecting right around the rim and then leaking down the sides and dripping from the bottom.
Do you have any radiator shops close to you?
If so look at reviews and talk to people that have used them.
I have known the shop that did mine for over 20 years. So I knew I could trust them.
Remember it may not be cheaper, I spent $125.00 on the repair and $125.00 on the Koyorad.
But I trust my shop too.
Hasn’t popped yet. I do have a backup mopar for it if something changes.
Rare bird,store it somewhere climate controlled.

Why? Is that really necessary?
I have a replacement Molar radiator still in the box, but it is stored in my [non climate-controlled] shop. It has been out there for a couple of years now.
Oreilly's will probably be more expensive than ordering one from RockAuto. When my radiator split (top) I replaced the OE with a Denso.
I was probably (thinking out loud)still trying to get used to Florida life(not having a basement for storage),we only have our attic,wouldn’t want to heat the plastic tank a long time before it needs to go in service,could be years.

Same here with a Murray radiator from O’Reilly’s. It has worked fine in Arizona 115+ summer temperatures for around 5 years(?). I stopped recommending it some time back because I got beat up EVERY time I posted positively about it. So this is not a recommendation, just my personal experience with the product..

And be aware there is a rubber gasket between each tank and the core that could dry out over time.
I installed mine in 2020. I was in Moab and wanted to get back on the trails. The Murray accomplished that and is still going. Can’t say it’s been in 115° ambient (more like 105° for me) but it has been down to -20° (not driven).

Replaced mine last summer, I do not envy the search for a decent replacement. Managed to find a lonely OEM (cannot even recall from where) but the chinesium ones were dogpoop.
On the bright side, swapping in a new one is an easy do it yourself job.
