Good so far, the cat voice is a bit annoying but i like the game stories like that. Check out ascend online for another good game series. Spells swords and stealth series too. I listen to a lot of audiobooks driving at when i can working. Helps pass the time

Yeah donut is annoying in a way but it gets endearing. It also gets better quickly. She's really annoying at the beginning I think just because she has been a sentient being for all of a few days so she's supposed to start off really immature.

My 15yr old daughter loves sci fi and dystopian novels, which is very hard to keep age appropriate. How’s the sex, gore and violence? I’m comfortable with a mild R movie type rating. So some of all the above is OK, but nothing overly graphic.
No sex, gore is described but not in an extremely detailed or messed up way. Lots of violence but it's like video gamey type context. Lots of cussing
I just did a search for "does audible have a young adult filter for sexual content" and they have an erotic content filter that is on by default but not a young adult section. AI had a few suggestions on finding safe authors and books you might check out.

My wife uses https://fable.co/ to check "content warnings". It has saved her from some books she's not interested in or wants to avoid. I have only seen a couple samples of it, so YMMV.
Having just finished "Same as Ever", I swapped it for the only other book the library had by Housel, I really like his stuff, & I think this is the first author I've read multiple books by since I binge-read what seems like 20 Stephen King novels back in college.

If she likes sci fi. Take a gander at Stanislaw Lem. I have been trying to track down more of his books but I really liked
“The Invincible”. Very good, clean, hard sci fi. Not very dystopian though.
The Silmarillion is the BEST book I've ever read, bar none. Nothing else even comes close. NOT an easy read, but worth it.
Right now I'm on the opposite side of the spectrum, re-reading a piece of trash called "The Illuminatus Trilogy". Its as bad as I remembered from reading it almost 50 years ago, but its interesting to see how many of its bazillions of conspiracy theories are still with us and/or have been proven true. Fnord!
Quite true! I have been given funny looks by LOTR fans after I say yeah I am rereading The Silmarillion. Always hilarious but its a very good book.

You probably don't want to bother with the Illuminatus trilogy - it really is pretty much pure trash. I'm re-reading it now just because I couldn't believe it was that bad 50 years ago - but it is, maybe worse.
As for the Silmarillion, I re-read it every year or two. It has had a HUGE influence in my philosophical/spiritual side. Not an easy read, the "High English" used doesn't make for light reading.

It does not, that is very true, Tolkien liked his words A LOT. I am surprised how well I can read it considering I have dyslexia. Probably helps me with my comprehension though.
