I am replacing both my camshaft and crankshaft position sensors on my 2006 4.0 6sp manual. This seems to be pretty straight forward, the question: is this just R&R? Seems I read something about they have to be synced? Any guidance here is greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Forgot to mention - 51k milage. She was running great and then sat in garage for a week. Then i got the 344 code and the gages all died and then the jeep died. Started back up and then limped and died several times. I got the 334 code and a u0155 code. Thanks again!
Glitching off and loss of gauges is the POS 05, 06 PCM dying.
@Wranglerfix has rehosted it to a more reliable PCM.
If all you are doing is removing the cam sensor, not the OPDA, you would not be disturbing the cam/crank relationship.
If you pull the OPDA you have to be within 15 deg of so of the crank sensor or it will throw a code.
Nothing has to be done when replacing the crank sensor.

I'd definitely check your wiring, battery terminals and battery health... especially for a Jeep that sits a lot.

Normally it doesn't sit, in this case I was out of town for a week and it was parked in the garage.
