The body tag seems to suggest a 1948 "Stylemaster Sport Coupe".
Body production number 810.
Trim code "150" was "Gray Striped Pile Fabric" for the interior.
Paint code "379" was "Battleship Gray Metallic" upper over a "Dove Gray Metallic" lower.

For those that don't know, "mountain motors" are a class of pro stock racing that run big cubic inch motors, up to 840 ci, just a smidge bigger than the super charged 500 ci babies of the other classes. Mountain motors are n/a running on gas with compression ratios around 17-18:1. They make the kind of sounds that tickle when you're nearby. I can't help but wonder what 800+ ci could do with meth and a blower.

I watch most of the Cleetus stuff but I haven’t followed Jackstand’s build. The place where I’ve seen it discussed the most is over on CJ race cars YouTube but to follow it you have to watch multiple different topics so I don’t watch it.

Years ago I was told a good pro stock engine would generally last a season, but had a lot of top end maintenance throughout the season. I think I was told the valvetrain only last about 10 passes before the heads are pulled and swapped or rebuilt. The last I heard, probably 10 years ago now, annual rebuilding for a competitive pro stock engine cost about $50-60K (assuming no major damage). With inflation since then I'd guess that cost is closer to $100K now.

For Top Fuel, that's probably about right.
