Also for you Cummins owners, how expensive is it to get a shop to fix the KDP issue?
I remember seeing what looked to be a mint 96 or 97 with no more than 150,000 miles for about $7,000

I honestly would've scrolled past it with that price tag on it, nice huge rig though.
I just wish they would have made them with regular sized beds!
I know very little about older diesel but have noticed that fords seem to not hold value compared to the chevys and dodges. Are you or anyone else here aware of why this is? I have known people with all 3 of those brands including one buddy with a 12v and they all seem to hold up about the same.
I've heard horrible stuff about ford Diesel engines except for the 7.3, that may be a reason, unreliable?
My understanding is that Cummins are the best of the best in the diesel world, maybe why the hold value.

Yes I have heard Dodge has the best diesels (cummins) and chevy has the best transmission (allision). My knowledge ends there
Ha...That made me chuckle. I'm old enough to remember when an 8 foot bed WAS the "regular" size.
