Cheap! Mopar rock rails

Where did you see simple install if you had a rubicon? Just curios

Because the existing plate seemed to match up with the sliders, when I got mine I saw the instructions included drilling tho, and it was only for certain years. Like I said I will try installing mine soon so I can further elaborate on if it fits with no drilling.. I have been procrastinating haha

These are direct replacement if you have stock Rubicon rock sliders. You only need to drill if you have a regular TJ X or Sport model. I previously drilled my Jeep and added takeoff stock Rubicon rock sliders and recently switched them to Mopar Rock Sliders with the step bar. It only took about 30 minutes to switch the rock rails out. Any questions let me know.

Yesterday I put mine up on Craigslist for $50. I really do not know if there is a market for these but time will tell.

Stupid question .. can you use these as steps for getting into the Jeep? Or are they more for rock crawling? I have a TJ Rubicon with the factory rails and am running the body armor TJ-4121 steps (link below) but like the looks of this MOPAR one better since it is OEM and has everything integrated.

You can use them as steps, but they are small. They basically look like the ones you posted in the link, with the one exception being the weight. Your link said they way 33lbs while these OEM ones are 50lbs.

I have been on the lookout for these since I read this thread.

This seller had them for $200 plus $100 shipping. A few weeks ago I made an offer for $250 total and he didnt accept.

Now he has them for a total of $235 plus Ebay has a 10% coupon today so I got them. He has a couple more.
