Advice on Mopar Rock Crawler bumper purchase

From the threads I have read they are very rare. $400 seems like a good deal..

$400 is a great deal, I paid $700 for mine, though it was new in the box.
Still, those Mopar Rock Crawler bumpers are hard to come by. I sold both my front and rear Mopar Rock Crawler bumpers recently for $1000, and they sold in under 10 minutes. That should tell you how fast they move, and how much they go for!
If you don't jump on that fast, it will be gone.

He’s keeping it in his garage and seems to not be in any sort of rush bi just mentioned it on an Instagram post and he messaged me to tell me had one he’d be willing to sale. Kinda fell into my lap. Currently I’m playing hardball and have countered at 330 shipped. Fingers crossed I don’t piss him off. Haha. He has a rear one that is a bit rusted and it has a hitch welded to it. (Looks pretty rough)
Yea that’s what I thought and I’m almost shooting my self in the foot by playing hard ball but I like a good gamble from time to time. Haha. He said the bumper just needs a good washing and maybe a go over with the AEV touchup rattle can and it’d be good as new. How’s it look in the pic tonyou, Chris?

As for the lights, I'd say for the extra $25 I'd get them. I'm sure new KCs cost more and based on the picture it's hard for me to tell how they even mount. Maybe they're specifically for this bumper?

Hey Chris, what’s the weight like compared to the factory bumper? Think I’ll need a 3/4” spacer up front or wait until I put a winch in it to add the spacer?
I mean a coil spacer to compensate for the sag that extra weight up front might cause. Sorry if I wasn’t clear with that.
I'll play the stick in the mud role and voice my opinion that that Mopar bumper isn't worth even close to $400. Just a personal opinion.
If it were me I'd either go with the Dirt Worx or the Savvy Offroad. The $249 Dirt Worx is wider but he'll make it shorter in the rock crawler style you want... likely at no extra charge, he's good about that. For $329 you could get the awesome aluminum Savvy bumper with its built-in winch mount. That's what I'm running and it's a great true rock crawler design. I know its designer very well and it was specifically designed for rock crawling, that's what he spends his spare time doing. Light, strong, and it won't get in the way of the rocks. OHHH! My bad... I didn't realize you were talking about coil spring spacers. You don't need those if you have good springs. For instance, Currie Springs, OME HD springs, MetalCloak springs, etc. Any spring from a reputable maker will be meant for extra weight in the front (heavy bumper, winch, etc.) and extra weight in the rear (a big spare tire, bumper, etc.). That being said, the only way you'd need coil spring spacers up front if if you have some very crappy springs, at which case those spacers upfront would be much less ideal than simply getting the right springs.
