Okay I just have to pipe in here even though it's an oldish thread. All this diss'n Neoprene seat covers got me depressed. Granted everyone has their own experience about everything but didn't read one positive comment about Neoprene. Now comes me. I purchased a set of black CoverKing Neoprene fronts and back almost 2 years ago. JC Whitney had an overstock sale on eBay and I bought the set for $80.00 shipped. They fit like a glove. Easy to slide in and out. They've held up extremely well and are very comfortable. No ripped threads and as black as the day I installed them. I never sweat while driving and Monkey Butt treatment is totally unnecessary. The covers never smell funky. My wifey feels the same way and comments about how pleased she is that I purchased them. So how could my experience of Neoprene be so different?

You're not alone. I've had Wet Okoles on my Tacoma for the last 3 years. They don't make me sweat, they haven't faded in the least, they fit great, are easy to clean, and don't smell like a wet dog. IMO, leather seats, natural or synthetic, would be the last thing I would want. That's just me. Iggees seem to be a popular pick, though.

I had the We Okoles in my Cherokee XJ and I felt like that was the biggest mistake I've ever made in my life (especially for what they cost). I would sweat profusely, and even being in a vehicle with a roof, they started to fade from black to grey in a matter of months from sun exposure (it was parked in a garage at night too).

Again, just my experience, I just know that I'll never in my life own a neoprene seat cover again.

I got some cordura nylon (think backpack material) covers once for my JK early on, I sent them back after two days. THOSE made me sweat profusely. Their draw was they were completely waterproof, but boy were those uncomfortable.

Makes sense. Generally anything that is waterproof (or doesn't breath well) is going to be horrible for a seat cover.

The wife and I mention how glad we are that we bought the Bartact covers to each other quite often. Honestly, about every couple of times we are in the TJ. LOVE them! The material matches the roll bar padding almost perfectly.

I just snapped this picture. It's a bit better than the lighting in the first one. Crazy nursing hours have left me with zero jeep time. The backseat it out right now (gotta have room for the boxer to ride lol) I will go downstairs and get a picture of that in a bit.

My wife also wanted me to mention how comfortable the Bartact seat covers are too! Seems like they add a little extra cushion. I had my choice narrowed down to either the IGGEE, or the Bartact. No regrets, and it sounds like others have no regrets on the IGGEE's too. It came down to me just not being a fan of leather/pleather. I prefer cloth seats.

Found Bartact black/graphite covers @ Morris 4x4. Their price was $299.99 + free shipping, and they have a coupon code for $20.00 on orders $299 and up. So net cost with shipping - $279.99. Picked up a set of front covers. Really like the looks of those. A big thank you to those who recommended them, I had not seen those, and was in the market for some decent seat covers.

Ron505's photo clinched it for me. Now I don't have to be concerned with spilling something on my 'new' seats. They do still look like day 1 off the lot...

Can't blame you. I made the mistake of buying neoprene covers once... God, I have no idea how they decided that would be a good material for seat covers. Absolutely horrible!
