Thank you.Ball joints, U joints, everything can wear more with bigger tires, it just depends on how you are on the skinny pedal

Would 32x11.50-15 be a good compromise size?
I would like to see how a 10.50 versus a 12.50 in 33" diameter affects mileage and performance with correct gearing.
I am considering going with a 33x10.50 to save weight and gain mpg.
If I ever decide to paint them, I'll do it properly so I think I'll do it at a professionalPainting chrome is not just spray bombing them, they need to be acid etched so the paint will stick. beyond that, its personal preference.
Yes, I am going from 31x10.5 to 32x12 as soon as these tires wear out.Would 32x11.50-15 be a good compromise size?

Since you said new wider rims, I take it they are 15x10? If so, I wouldn't put a 10.5" wide tire on a 10" wide rim, unless you don't plan on using it off-road. You might find it hard to run a proper pressure off-road, and not lose a bead.I would like some advice on a similar subject.
Currently I ride with 33 x10. 5x15 BF goodrich Mud occasions (2012 or 2013 I can not remember). I do not really have a problem with my tires..

I just wanted new rims wider and especially a little more deported (Et-).
I had bought used rims with their old tires mounted on them.

Old tires Bridgestone 33x12.5x15.
Now after installing a 2.5 "OME lift kit, I would like to install my" new "rims.
Do you advise me to install them with my current tires BF 33 x10.5 ...? Or with the Bridgestone 33x12.5 ...?
Last question, since the only thing that I appreciate in my old rims is the black color, would it be better to paint the "new" chrome rims in black ...?
Indeed I have not measured yet ... But if I find them 10 ", I will certainly follow your advice and stay with the 12.50 Bridgestone already installed, although I think that BF are more reliable than Bridgestone ...Since you said new wider rims, I take it they are 15x10? That really comes down to personal preference. Myself, I don't like chrome or black rims. As mentioned above, painting over chrome isn't as easy as painting over powder coat or paint. Plasti Dip will work and is pretty easy to touch up, though it isn't as tough as paint. Where you have a black Jeep, the chrome might actually look OK on it. Could be worth putting a couple of tires on and see how they look.Indeed I have not measured yet ... Curious what the tread width measurement on the 10.50 is. Also what backspacing do you have. For what it’s worth, the only difference I really saw was that the 10.50s I ran, KM2s, looked a little smaller than the 12.50s,MTZP3s, I went with after 3 years. They were both 33s but the narrower width made the 10.50s look smaller on my TJ. I kept the 10.50 spare. It was obviously just the illusion of them being smaller but if you’re spending that much money on tires it might be something you want to consider.

Is that actual or off the bfg specs?Tread width on a 33X10.50R15 BFG KO is 8.5" and 8" on a BFG KM
How much do the 12.5 stick out beyond the flares assuming they are stock flares? I have a 04 Rubicon so not sure if flares differ per model. My OME lift BL/MML is done and trying to figure out what size 33's to get. No load range E though. Do you notice any power loss from 10.5 to 12.5? I planned on 15x8 wheels. It’s around 10.5 to 11 but I can measure the spare when I get home. I think the backspace on the wheels was 3.75 (The 4wp procomp series 31 Stryker wheels)
