I had been telling Faye, my wife, for years that I really needed to upgrade Stingers headlights. Got the same old more-money-on-that-jeep reaction.
Last couple of weeks we were on the Oregon coast sploring a ton of FS and logging roads. 1. The coast rain forest have a pretty dense canopy of deciduous and coniferous trees not to mention head high brush. 2. It gets dark early in the fall-it gets dark even earlier in the sky denied rain forest. 3. It gets really dark in the sky denied rain forest in a deluge of a rain storm!
We got caught several times in just these circumstances and Faye found out first hand what it's like trying to see with the crappy factory lights!!! Even traveling at a crawl-25 mph- I almost we over the edge because I couldn't see that the road turned sharply.
Momma says Truck Lites are a must before we get much more sploring done!
Now I need somebody to volunteer to roll their jeep in front of us so I can convince her we need to upgrade the "sport cage." Just kidding. That has already been demonstrated to her.
