Went to replace resistor and found one wire had had melted in the plug itself... so I actually need a new “pig tail connector” or blower motor wire connector.. its melted and needs replaced so all 4 positions will work currently only 3 can someone give me a part number or recommendation where to get it thanks

The usual cause of melted wiring in the fan circuit is a bad fan motor with shorted windings. That's the usual cause of the excessive current that melts the wiring and connector.

☝What he said.

Just replacing the resistor and wiring harness temporarily cures the symptom. Replacing the blower motor cures the underlying problem. Its fairly easy and cheap
