Cruise control not working after factory retrofit

I’ll let you know. Always something to learn on a Jeep. I’ve got another question for you. I don’t really off-road. Only to a fishing hole from time to time, but want to lift my TJ and put 33’s on her. What’s a good lift for me to get? And what’s a good size and width of wheel that you recommend? I Don’t need a $1,500 Teraflex lift, but this is my daily driver and I’d like a good one that will last.

Wanted to update you after installing today, confirmed tested, working correctly and CORRECT model number cruise control switches for my 1999 TJ. Still nothing owrking or lighting up when I push the ON button. The servo simply isn't getting any power from the cruise control plug under my hood. This sucks, but when I figure it out, I'm going to post it for everyone to see. At this point, I may just bite the bullet and take it to the local dealer to fix.

Chief, if you google search Jeep TJ Cruise Control harness and you'll find pictures of that harness/plug. If you can't find it, let me know. I'll take a picture of mine, even though mine doesn't seem to be getting power to it.

Ok, so I have been looking for the Air Bag Cover in Spice / Tan. Hard to find. So I thought to myself, just go black steering wheel and black air black cover and it will match the dash. But as I think about my TJ, (which has been 9 months since I could drive or even see her), I am pretty sure it is black. Am I thinking correctly on this? Were all steering wheels black except for the Sahara's even though my interior is Spice / Tan.

The dealer may be helpful, as the cruise control feature may need to be activated in your Jeep's . I installed the Ford factory trailer brake controller on my 2010 Ford F-150. It was a simple plug and play installation on my part, but I had to have the Ford dealer activate the feature in the truck's computer.
