What did you do to your TJ today?

Rain finally let up and the temps dropped a bit so went for an evening cruise over to the lake.

Well I installed the rear shocks, Ebrake cable brackets, tightened the rear track bar, charged the batter, washed the battery tray, installed wiper blades, replaced broken tail light lens, straightened the steering wheel some, installed the wheels and tires, took it for a drive and about died from the death wobble! Checke the front end for loose bolts, didn't find any, but it sure looks good though.

Wow, she does look great. Love that blue!

Took me a month and half of Sundays, but I'm very happy with the way this turned out. Totally bomber, fastened to the tub and hopefully weatherproof. Also tight and secure - good fitment with no rattles or noise. Now the fun part - organizing and loading it up. Current plan is for recovery, tools and parts on the right, and general camp box, kitchen, etc. on the left. Also thinking about some sort of cargo net hanging from the top for soft goods, jackets and such. Who says you can't overland in a TJ?!

This is some nice work! May have to contract some work from you, I can ride in from Kuna for the install! :)

Got the JKS quicker disconnects installed and the rest of the front lift torqued down. Still need to install the new steering dampener. Mostly corrected the steering wheel post-lift-off-centered-ness. Then the rain came. Rear lift fastener torquing will have to wait. :(

Finally fixed the intermittent brake light on the dash. The dumb mechanic that works on my jeep (myself) trapped the E-brake sensor wire under the mount. (See attached photo).

I got tunnel vision and really spent way to much time thinking it was a real brake problem. Even though they felt fine.

Got to save my pennies for a new transfer case skid, CV driveshaft and other bits before install.

What made you choose the old style long output versus the super short newer versions?
