My understanding of fuel pump related starting issues, specifically the valve, is that the longer the Jeep sits, the more time fuel has to run back into the gas tank.
With intermittent starting trouble that does not always correspond to time between runs, is it safe to rule out the valve in the pump?
What led me to fuel pump was the trouble starting as well as on 2 occasions, my fuel guage stayed pegged at empty.
I'm hoping it's the starter, honestly. But I'd like to narrow this down as much as possible before throwing money at it.
