Mods that I liked more than I expected

What's the deal with this Spiderweb shade I read so much about? I have a Bestop safari top, when the hardtop comes off so do the doors for the summer. Does this Spiderweb stuff beat your standard safari top?
Not necessarily. A spiderweb is kind of in between in my opinion , allows some light through . A safari top blocks more sun and rain .

The in between is why I stopped using my spider web. I figured out that I really wanted all or nothing.
Me too , and why I didn’t like mine at first .
In between finally became better than nothing .

Folding it half back saved the deal , I’m an open air guy really.

@OlivierJeepDad @jjvw what dead pedal are you guys running? Also do you use it as much if you’re driving manual? Been thinking bout installing one for awhile

80s/90s Mustang. Look on eBay.

My foot is on it often and I'm happy to have it there.

The nice thing on that pedal is it saves having to cut carpet, and the pedal is a little closer, which gets you on the clutch better .

That's why I went with this one over the other popular one we see that attaches to the floor.

Ah, ok. I'll stick w/ the safari top, the Utah sun tends to murder your face with cancer, thanks for the info
Another thing a safari top does is saves the roll bar pads from fading .

You live in an amazing state man, when I first saw it , I thought ...oh my, this is going to take a lot of fill dirt and top soil .

The beauty is surreal.

How is the pedal mounted to the bracket? The thing that bothers me with that dead pedal is the cant.

The rubber to the bracket? However Ford did it back then. If the bend bothers you, then bend it differently. I never thought or felt the need to.

Before I committed to bolting it into place, I used the really sticky 3m double face foam tape to try a few positions.

Hahahah yeah, I dig it. What part of 'Bama you from? I spent years and years down there at Eglin on the redneck riviera, I miss it. I think we're gonna do another year or two-ish out here and then go back.

I meant is the pedal bolted to the bracket or just a slip cover on a one piece bracket?

I think I'll go with the M.O.R.E. and just not screw it into the floor.

Most of them replicate the floor angle which is close to that...what is good on the mustang pedal is you CAN alter it.

I did the m.o.r.e ..keep the box. It is designed to mount in the angled part of the floor, and the more you move it toward you , it changes the angle.

It’s a nice pedal , but sits way forward . If you are long legged , you will like that.
