Hi all need help on where to begin. 01 4.0 165k. Drove 60 miles 1 way yesterday no problem. Untill I got on expressway heading home, check engine light started flashing the whole way it started shaking a little but was barely noticeable at 60. Got off my exit and it was running terrible. No power, just barely chugging along and was loud. Got home cel was constant on steady by then and shut it off, started back up and was running fine again. Did the key code check. Got multiple misfire code and misfire on all cylinders except #6 nothing else. Cps was replaced 3 months ago. No frayed wires. Where do I begin? Coil pack rail and spark plugs, 02 sensors, Injector cleaner. Or just Something else I'm missing. Thanks in advance.

More thank likely it’s your coil pack for that cylinder. Could be the spark plug (make sure it’s gapped properly too), but I suspect it’s the coil pack. Still, the spark plug is cheap and easy to start with.

Are you saying miss fire on 5 of the six cylinders?

Can you get a scan tool and post the P error codes?

Going to take it to AutoZone tomorrow to scan it. Yes misfire on cylinders 1-5 not on cylinder 6. Told by the key trick to retrieve codes. What I got was.

Thanks for the help. I'll order spark plugs and a coil pack off Amazon tomorrow for 55. They want around 125 at autozone.
