Speedometer, oil pressure, and temp gauges aren't working

I bought my '98 Sport as a salvage and rebuilt it.
All lights seem to work fine. Tach, Fuel, and Volts all work as well.
Speedo isn't working, but still tracks mileage. Oil Pressure and Temp are out as well.
Just these 3 gauges are screwed up for some reason.

On hot days (usually after driving for 15-20 min or more on the freeway, CHECK GAUGES light comes on, AC starts blowing hot. AC is currently at 50psi for 95*F.

Where these gauges all working before you rebuilt it? In other words, have they ever worked?

Not sure. I assumed they did, but it wasn't driving when I started the build so I never checked.

It very well could be a connection on the back of the gauge cluster as they are known to be wonky. I'd take the cluster out and check the connections to make sure. That's where I would start at least.

I tried that. Used cleaner and dielectric grease on it too.

Agree, mine did the same thing and it was the connection on the back of the cluster. Cleaned and tightened the connections and all is fine. Before taking out the cluster and fixing it, a good slap on the dash would bring it back too. Lol.
