Possible clutch issue?

I’m having problems out of my engine rpms being higher than normal at a given speed. (30 @ 4K rpm when it would normally be 3k, 50 at 3.5-4K where it would normally be 3, etc. I have no noticeable slipping or chatter when shifting. First is a bit rough to pull out in when a/c is on but not bad when off (stock 2.5 with 4.10 gears and 32x11.5)

Curious what other issues it could be.

If it is the clutch would I be better off buying the luk kit, a flywheel and clutch release bearing at the same time?

To test for a slipping clutch do this: Drive the vehicle up to speed in high gear, slow down until the engine is lugging just a little, then push the accelerator pedal all the way to the floor. If the engine revs up faster than moving your vehicle the clutch is slipping. LUK clutches are fine. Don’t replace the flywheel unless it doesn’t pass inspection.

Slipping clutch is the only thing that would cause the engine rpm to steadily increase while the speed of the vehicle remains constant.

The rpms don’t steadily increase. They’re just higher than average. As I said, no noticeable slipping rpms don’t climb as speed doesn’t. Just higher rpms for given speed than it was a month or two ago.

Sounds like the clutch is beginning to slip. A clutch is a solid connection between the engine and transmission when the pedal isn’t depressed and isn’t slipping. Either your clutch is slipping or your mistaken in your explanation.

Does the engine sound louder or are you relying on the tach?

It’s not spurting up. Just constantly running high except idle
