Answer this question.... when you Google mall crawler. Why do they all have black out? (Just trying to be funny no ill intentioned)

I find it funny that on forums in a post about back vs white letters we all have strong opinions.

When was the last time anyone was looking at a jeep and said "damn that is nice except for a letters on your tires. "

Even when we bash the stupid builds we don't mock tire letters.


My thoughts i don't think anyone truly cares what way anyone else does it.

Jeeps are busy enough. Black walls are how I like it. Why would I want any white on my Jeep? Doesn't belong since it would be introducing something that doesn't make sense. Now if you have a white Jeep, that might look okay.

It is the barricade, I also have the basket to go on top of it. I use it to haul kayaks on top and it works fine for that. Have also hauled lumber, pipes, etc from Lowe's with it. If you do get it be prepared to go ahead and tear the plastic knobs from the bolts that hold the crossbars on and tighten them on down with a wrench. Also get a four foot bungie and wrap it around the front bar, it is amazing how that will kill wind howl.

With black wheels I prefer the white letters. It gives a little definition to the tire/wheel combo. Any other color wheels it would be black letters all the way.
 
I am old school and like white letters. But they don't belong on everything. I've told people before, if I'm paying for the white letters, I want to see the white letters. Course, I like white wall tires too.

Even murdered out, when I first got it, I preferred white letters.

Side note: I had driven my Expedition an hour north to a motorcycle accessories place. Was inside looking at helmets, when this younger guy/employee comes in, geeking out over what is a normal everyday grocery getter. He's like, "Who owns the Expedition?". I said, I do. He said, "Man, Eddie Bauer, Michelin LTX tires with white letters, and is that a Delorean Motor Company license plate on the front?". LOL. Kid shared my love for white letters.

Drive what you like. Someone, somewhere will think it's the coolest thing ever!
