Factory sound bar rattling

I think I have seen a thread on this before but have had no luck finding it. I have amplified JL 6.5 marine speakers in my sound bar (sound phenomenal) but recently have been noticing the bar has been beginning to vibrate/rattle mostly during low, longer duration frequencies (aka bass). I can grab the sound bar with my hand a squeeze it and the rattle disappears. What is a good solution to stopping this, or at least a good previous thread to read. TIA

Try to pop the light covers off yet? When I filled my pods with poly fill and Polk Audios I got a terrible buzzing vibration. Ended up being the light lenses. Took those off and then used a bit of foam tape and popped them back on.

I think you're right about the lense! I was squeezing the bar at the lense and assumed it to be the bar but it's actually the lense making the noise. Do you think filling the pod is worthwhile? My speakers sound very crisp and clear right now, I always considered filling them but am afraid I may regret the decision.

This was a timely post! I just walked another friend through the same issue a week or so ago. Man those little lenses make ALOT of noise!

I would totally get some poly fill of the pods. It made a difference in my Jeep.

@JeepZilla380 Agreed! This fixed the problem on my TJ and JK using Poly-fil alone. Got it Walmart for like $4 for a large bag that I still have 99.5% left, LOL. Poly-fil pillow stuffing.

OP, just don't pack in too much, you don't need much. It should be very loosely packed.

Agreed with the polyfil comments, and as an added layer of protection you can buy some cushion tape to put in between the lense cover and the speaker pod, you place 2-3 small squares of tape on the lens and then fasten it back to the speaker pod.
