I just received my new MORryde Tire carrier to replace my bumper/carrier combo since I run 35's. Taking a look at the MORryde box it says tire carrier up to 33" WTF . Is there more than one kit ?

Forgot to post pictures, that is the only reason I went this way was because of 35" tire capacity
I believe they're saying the thin OEM sheet metal mount is only good for a 33. I'd be buying a more stout mount for the heavier wheel/tire combo. If I remember correctly, aside from strength considerations, the OEM carrier runs into clearance issues with a 35.
I agree with @L J - it holds my 35” tire perfectly with an aftermarket tire bracket.
Looks the same as mine, though I don't recall what if mine said 33" or 35". I know there is only one part number though. I ran a 35" on mine without issue.

Maybe it’s explaining that the factory spare tire carrier is only capable of carrying a 33 inch tire. A 35 on a stock carrier may have fitment issues with the bumper....?
A 35 may require a different carrier to be bolted to the tailgate and Moryde. Bet Moryde sells a different carrrier that can handle a 35 and still be bolted to the rear tailgate and the Moryde reinforcement plate

I can't find one for the TJ made by MorRyde, only the JK. Only thing I can find for the TJ is the heavy duty hinges and tailgate reinforcement.

I have one on mine and it holds a 35 no problem.
the weak link is actually the factory tire mount. I cracked the original one and put a junk yard on 2 yrs ago and it's holding so far. I just keep an eye on it. As long as the junk yard has them I'll be ok.
