Upgraded Dana 44 covers

Rock Hard looks like good option. Can you install without draining/breaking oil seal?

I installed mine without breaking the seal, no leaks. I also replaced the Allen head bolts that came with the cover with grade 8 bolts. The Allen bolts strip and get damaged easily.

What about track bar clearance? See my pic above.
I did have to grind down the ribs towards the top of the cover, but it wasn’t nearly as much as I expected. I basically had to grind them flush in a small area.

As of right now, the trackbar upper Johnny Joint hits the axle bracketed before the trackbar hits the differential cover. (I actually cannot fully center my axle because of the joint contact.)
 
Just a heads up, when searching for differential covers use the full name of the manufacturer. Googling "Rock Hard" with out the "4x4" at the end will bring up some NSFW options....
