Need opinions on compression and leak down tests

Try running the Mystery Oil through the engine. If it is a varnish problem that should clear it up. Do you have any idea what oil the OP had in it? It also could be the new oil filter lacks the anti-drainback valve. Easy to look for. Unscrew the filter and look for a 'rubber' washer inside all those holes that surround the center mounting hole. If no rubber then all the oil is allowed to drain back to the pan.

It’s a stock Mopar filter, running Seafoam right now. The knocking does speed up with acceleration.

The compression numbers look fine, though I'm not entirely sure how to read a leak down test. Maybe someone else can chime in on that.
Chris , on his leak down numbers ... the tester has 2 gauges , he is introducing 100 PSI of air into the cylinder which is read on gauge 1 — his second number is the air pressure the cylinder is holding .. so 100 on first gauge and 92 on 2nd gauge means a 8% leak .. 100/82 = an 18% leak .hope that helps
