I think that's the stupidest closure yet. People need to re-evaluate whether off-roaders are smart with that kind of a decision.

Hey guys, just saying Hi. I just got a Jeep again, 4th time is a charm! Apparently I can't live without one..
Wanted to post & follow, anyone know if HF is shut down yet, itching to get out the house & would love to wheel with some folks, guess we'd have to keep a lil distance when out of the rigs..
Feel like wheeling is not being close to people..

ATTENTION
Effective this Sunday, March 22, 2020 - EVERYONE (including Members) MUST exit the park by 5pm. Camping will be available only Thursday-Saturday, members may still access the park strictly for day use Monday-Wednesday. Due to the fluidity of the current situation, online camping reservations can only be made the week of a visit. Thank you so much for your support and understanding.
In an attempt to stop the spread the COVID-19 pandemic, and following the Disaster Declaration of Mason County (see below) prohibiting public gatherings of 10 or more people, subject to a $1,000 fine and possible jail time, Katemcy Rocks has POSTPONED the following events:
1. LONE STAR LANDCRUISER ROUNDUP Mar 18-22
(tentatively rescheduled to Nov, 2020, date TBD)
2. W. E. ROCK ROCKCRAWLING COMP - Mar. 27-29
(reschedule TBD)
3. LONE STAR EARLY BRONCO ROUNDUP - Apr 1-5
(rescheduled for Oct. 1-4, 2020)
We will be CLOSED on the dates originally set for these events per the disaster declaration. Later scheduled events still stand and we will address those as the pandemic evolves. We appreciate your understanding and we apologize for the inconvenience. Please do your part to be socially responsible so that we can get through this sooner rather than later. Thanks.

HF is not closed at this time. It may only be a matter of time before it does close the way things are looking.

Well if all the off-road parks close you can always drive up to New York and help me blaze a trail through my new 6 acre swamp. Bring a chainsaw! As well as a tow strap.

Burnet county is on lockdown starting tonight. I'd imagine the park will be closed soon, maybe not.

If HF doesn't close I should be able to wheel on Sunday only.
I can do Sunday also. I guess best bet would be check with them Saturday.
