Steering wheel alignment after steering box rebuild

Hello, I recently had my steering gear box rebuilt and when I got the Jeep my steering wheel is off centered to the left. Anyone know how to fix this?

You can center the steering wheel by loosening the collar bolts on the drag link and slowly turn CW or CCW to determine if the steering wheel is moving the correct direction.
The question you should ask is.... Why is the steering wheel off center ?

Do you know if the steering box was centered (number of total turns of steering shaft divided by 2 to equal the half way point of turns) or turned the steering wheel from center during steering box installation?
This could clock your steering wheel off center and possibly damage the ribbon cable for transfer of electrical signals while cycling the steering wheel making turns driving your Jeep.

The clockspring is also damaged so I guess it was not centered. I was getting ready to replace the clockspring and then center the wheel. With that said anything else I need to do other than make sure the steering box is centered?

After that do a to in check to be sure all the linkage is set to work with the steering box now that it is rebuilt. All should be ok, but be safe and check it.

That is the same procedure I use when centering the steering wheel.

I use a big spring clamp on the wheel to see it. Then put a piece of tape on the winshield to mark exactly where it should be. And I can get within a degree or 2 of dead center without having to get up and check it from the driver seat.
