Un-plug the connector and take a picture of it, might be able to figure something out, if it’s just 2 wires jump them, but it’s probably 3 Because of the gauge which will get more Interesting.

Also there are a few threads on OBd2 readers, worth researching for a good one. Personally I would buy an autel; but that’s my personal opinion, there a little more pricy but they last, and work well. don’t be drawn by features you don’t really need. Some people report good outcomes with the Bluetooth ones, I don’t like them. But that’s just my opinion from time as a shade tree mech.

I would look it up (you can get the Factory Service Manual in this forum) and see if you can find the switch. Or, do a google search for the type of switch (normally open, normally closed, capacitive, etc) it is.

Thanks so much this all started when I was removing old switch and it broke. But who knows if I bumped something or whatever I hope for the best we’ll see. I wish my code reader would read

That one is gonna be a pain to bypass, you would have to figure out the correct amount of resistance to jump, not worth your time. As far as the reader my only guesses are clean your obd2 port and if that doesn’t work, get a diff one. The computer/ cable in that one might be broke. Do you have another car you could test the reader on?

Yes works great on wife’s 16 VW

Well 16 is a lot newer, so it could still be the reader. But I’m guessing it’s more likely to be your connection in the Jeep. Try and clean it out and check to make sure you don’t have any loose wires. Someone might chime in with more info.

Yeah, my concern rn is that the reader is fine and there is something wrong with your obd2 connection at the body though.

I have had no problems with my cheap bluetooth one from amazon(https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01HXGX8V6/?tag=wranglerorg-20) and running torque on my phone

Installed new cam shaft position sensor mopar no help reordered new oil pressure switch mopar buddy is bringing a good shop reader this weekend and some other stuff will update but currently dead in the garage cranks like a champ no

Manual but till buddy comes I will not have a way to try and get back up my incline driveway

Have you checked to see if your coils are good, if you have a multimeter there is an expected resistance between the packs. Might be worth trying. I’m kinda curious weather the computer is pulling fuel or spark. But I suppose it doesn't really matter.

Just puzzles me how it ran fine all day and I pull it in the garage to install manual oil pressure gauge and since it won’t start. I know it broke taking off but I thought maybe new aftermarket switch would at least start it. I am ordering mopar one to see I am just so puzzled makes me crazy. Mopar 4897023AA Camshaft Position Sensor did not help to fix the issue

The mopar oil pressure sensor will be here Saturday morning I had to special order through advance auto 75 bucks but it’s mopar

I hope so I also ordered 5 new sensors for oil sensor we are gonna eliminate that all together. I also received my new shoes today.

Love those wheels, jealous. 5 of the same sensor seems excessive. I wouldn’t just throw money at the problem. It might not be the oil sensor but it seems like a good place to start.
