Can you hear the fuel pump run as you cycle the key on?
Test for fuel pressure at the fuel rail?

If it does prove to be a bad fuel pump, I would avoid installing ANY store-brand fuel pump like from Autozone, O'Reilly's, etc. I'd also avoid the internet brands like Spectra or Airtex. The only brand I'd go with is Bosch which is believed to be the OE manufacturer of the original Mopar pump, the other brands just don't last long.

Yeah, I recently replaced one of those Airtex pumps that the previous owner of my TJ had a shop install.
It was only six months old and supplied pressure but the check valve was bad and bled off after sitting for 30 seconds. I installed an OE Mopar pump after reading about problems with the aftermarket junk out there.

If you have fuel spraying from the injectors with spark, it will start. Did you measure the fuel pressure while the engine runs with the starting fluid? A bad fuel pump may be able to build up to 45-49 psi at first but not be able to sustain it once the engine starts or tries to start.
45-49 psi the entire starting cycle? If you do and it is truly getting spark, the engine will start. Spark gives a clear sign the engine computer is happy with all the inputs from the various sensors.
Does the fuel pump shut off during the starting process or does it continue running? Even without the right sensor input it will cycle on for 1-2 seconds. If the computer is not happy with the sensors, it will shut the fuel pump off and there would be no spark either.
The injectors aren't opening to spray fuel in that's the problem a sensor is not letting it open what sensor I don't know
If a sensor was preventing the injectors from opening you wouldn't be getting spark. Are you truly getting spark?
All I can think of at this point is perhaps the camshaft position sensor which controls the fuel injectors has gone bad. Can't figure out how a bad camshaft position sensor could allow the fuel pump to run but maybe.
Having my buddy who's a mechanic coming to check it out don't wanna throw money at something it's not plus if I change it and I get a defective part I'll be stumped on it forever had it happen before with other parts Any help is appreciated thanks
