Which is better to buy first, adjustable upper or lower control arms?

just wanting some general opinions on which you should buy first. Adjustable lower control arms or upper adjustable control arms. My rubicon has all 8 fixed length control arms and ive already bought a set of lower adjustable control arms for the front and rear. My theory was to have the lower installed on first just for the strength since they take most of the beating. Just wondering if I should wait til I have a set of uppers too before going to the trouble of installing them.

I always like the idea of buying all 4 and installing at the same time, that way you can adjust your pinion angle with the uppers, and square up your axle with the lowers all in one go, instead of having to do it twice. If you're happy with the angles your fixed arms have you at, i wouldn't see a problem with doing the lowers first, then uppers later. Its more or less how many times do you wanna get under your jeep and get the arms set.

I don't know if the lower arms (original or new) get in the way of replacing the upper arms.

Depends on when or if you plan to install a SYE. If hat is a high priority, the. Rear upper is first.

Personally I would do 1 axle at a time. Both the lowers and the uppers. That way you can get it dialed in and be done with it. Then if you need to wait to get the other axle's upper and lower. But do an axle complete, dial it in, and then move on to the next project.

I have about a week set aside just to rebuild the steering with ZJ components and install the arms, along with fine tuning everything.

I don't know if the lower arms (original or new) get in the way of replacing the upper arms.

Yes getting a new DC driveshaft is 2nd on my list right now as I'm fighting a small shimmy at around 40 mph right now. This jeep is a rubicon so I'm only gonna need the driveshaft. Its also just at 4 inches of SL and 1.25 BL. But since someone cheaped out and didn't get a driveshaft it has an ugly transfer case drop on it..

This sounds like a good idea. Do you think it would be fine to just install the lowers and set them to the same length as to what is on here now? I just figured that while I have everything on jack stands I might as well do it at the same time

Seems like a good plan to me. Its not gonna hurt to wait. It just bothers me knowing I have a set of g2 axles under there that can't perform to their full potential. That and those boxed in procomp arms are just ugly.
