Behind the Rear Seat Box

I have acquired a behind the seat rear box. It fits behind the rear seat. Anyone have any insight on installation or pictures or adverts? Similar to the Instatrunk. It has carpet on top.

What on earth is a Mopar rear box? You mean an Instatrunk?

Speed control vacuum lines? What are those? Are you talking about cruise control vacuum lines? You can use any vacuum line for that as line as it's the right diameter.

And Mopar bumpers? Are you referring to the Mopar Rock Crawler bumpers? Those are ultra-rare but do come up from time-to-time. Still, that should be a thread in the

It seems to me you have a the Wanted section for both the bumpers and speed control hoses (though honestly, you can get those at any auto part store).

As far as the rear box. I will take pictures this weekend. It is similar to the insta trunk.

Life gets busy when you don’t want it too. Here are the pictures. Looking back on the messages with the guy. He said it was similar to the instatrunk. I assumed it was an option but I was mistaken.

It needs some TLC. A bolt to hold the arm and bolts to hold it in.

Did u ever get an answer on this? I just bought a TJ Sahara and I have that box and can help u. I’m gonna sell that accessory as it’s not for me but I can help

I had one of those useless Jeep instatrunks. I upgraded (threw it in the trash) mine and made one more functional.

It comes with nutserts to install. I have a similar one. Nutserts go in the tub at the wheel well. Two on each side iirc. And maybe one in the bottom on each side. These are secured inside the trunk. So that when the tailgate is locked you cant get it out. Id contact manufacturers of similar models to identify it exactly. And to find an install kit. Or just put in nutserts where there are holes in the trunk for doing so.

I believe that one pictured is the early model factory inta-trunk. The early ones were metal. Both my TJ's have the later plastic trunks and I really like them as there is a tiny bit of security for a second or two when the tops are off and then tailgate is locked

Look to see if the nutserts are all ready installed are the holes in carpet on the side of the wheel wells. If not all you to do is drill four holes put in four nutsets and your good to go

I have a single unit sub and the Jeep already just rattles, I can’t imagine 2x10” in a box!
