LED Lighting Load Resistor Installation

Headlights and tail lights work great, it's front turn signal lights and side marker lights that don't work correctly. Green turn lights on dash stay on all the time.

Did you install LED bulbs in either the front turn signals or side markers?
I only ask because I did recently and those bulbs have a polarity and the side markers can easily be inserted backwards and won't flash. I went from one side to the other switching them around to get them working. I also found that leaving the stock turn bulbs in front caused the same problem.

What LEDs are you using? Are they 3 wires? The front turn indicators are where the grounds are, those need to be the 3 wires type if you replace those.

Most 3 wire LEDs connect something like this:

Jeep/LED
Black = White
Black/Yellow = Black
Tan or Green = Red

Installed both side markers and turn bulbs in front.. they worked but dash turn lights stayed on green all the time. I turned them and nothing different happened. I gave up and put regular bulbs back in.mine is 2005 x, if you found bulbs that work in both places, where did u get them and do you have bulb numbers?

I ran into the same problem with my LED front bulbs and side markers. I replaced them with the newer, regular bulbs and everything works fine now. The regular bulbs are actually way brighter than the LED bulbs. Hyper Flashing is taken care of either way.

I just installed the LED headlamps. They look great. They have connections for turn signals. If I hook them up, will me mix of LED turn signal in ghe headlight andb the incandescent bulb in the turn signaling cause a problem?

If they are connections off the new Headlights they are most likely for DLR (daylight running) option with TJ doesn't support.

Yes. There are two separate single female wire connectors next to the standard 3 prong. I do remember "daytime running lights" and how to connect them. I will check it out. Thanks.

Hey LeePTI I have same headlights, the two leads hook up to your park lights as white running lights, and the other is yellow and flash with your turn signals. They work great on mine, cant tell in pics very well but they are on in white with lights on.

Hey guys I have struggled with this wiring issue for a while as well. Does anyone know if trailer lights will work properly once all of the lights work as they should on the jeep? Thanks in advance!
