Coolant burping problems

Long story short. Thought I needed to burp coolant as ac was not blowing cold. Happened before.

Looked at system nothing appeared low.
Removed radiater cap while cold nose up.
Ran enginge tell hot turned on heat.
Coolant kept coming out on and off probably about a liters worth total. But no extra space was ever made to refill in radiator or resevoir. I finaly gave up and orderd a spill proof funnel, never geting to replace any coolant. Next day i monitored temp and checked levels at end of day after goingbto work and back. Everything still appeared full. Got funnel today filled funel about half way and marked level, ran for an hour. Still nothing and no fluid level change in funnel or resevoir? Any ideas as to why i cant at least replace the fluid that came out originaly.

I'm confused as to how you think your coolant level could affect AC performance, because I can tell you that it doesn't. My guess as to the reason you coolant system won't accept any more coolant is because it's already full.

Last time my ac wasnt cold my coolant was low, replaced coolant and issue went away. Coincidence probably. And no it wasnt full as i stated why could I at not least replace the amount of coolant that came out about 1 liter.

So after about 2 hours of squeezing hoses and turning wrangler off and on and everything else I could think of coolant went down about a half inch in funnel. Called it a night, checked after I got home today and resivoir had about a half in missing out of it. Pretty sure there is not a leek so im not sure whats going on.

It's a self burping system. When the engine is cool open the Radiator Cap and make sure it is filled to the top with Coolant. From there locate the Coolant Reservoir and make sure it is filled to the level marked on the side of the container. Now this is where the confusion comes as "burping" the cooling system comes from decades ago and is not necessary now. When the Cooling System is properly filled the system will purge its self when it runs and shuts down. The important part is run the engine to completely make the nominal operating temperature and when it cools the Coolant will move around. This is where most people open the Radiator Cap to check which introduces more Air into the system. Do not open the Radiator but rather check the Reservoir which you should see actually lost Coolant is it gut sucked into the Radiator thus topping off the system.

Makes sense. Thats when the most filled from the funnel is when i turned enginge off and let it cool. During my running around today it must have burped and pulled in from resevoir. I didnt take the cap back off just topped off resevoir. Should be good then. I was looking at it last night thinking this doesn't make sense, if the gas is pressured while running wouldn't it be forced out thourgh tube into resevoir? Then when enginge cools pull coolant back in.
