Who has made a wall decoration out of a Jeep TJ grille?

Show us some pictures! I recently grabbed this grill for free. It has a bit of rust and may not be a worthy replacement so I'm planning on making it into a lighted wall hanging for the garage. Lets see some ideas!

Pantina is a big thing, so yours is good. I don't have any pictures now, but I have a primered version (stripped like yours) hanging on my garage wall. I also have a Gunmetal Pearl grill with lights and harness. I've picked up a 12 volt power supply and am working on adding a dimmer switch, so I can hang it on the wall and turn on the headlights.

I'm thinking of slicing the back half off so it will not stick out so far from the wall. Of course I have to figure out lights also.

I thought about slimming mine down as well, but it's becoming harder to find good grills. The aftermarket doesn't make them, so you have to source them used. I've already replaced one. Oh crap, I just realized I have a third red one that's beat up. I really do have a problem!

Not exactly the same but chrome overlay removed from the LJ is going to become wall ornament for my nephews room. There are several YouTube videos for making art from Jeep grill. This is a YJ but I like the way looks although might be a bit heavy.

I have a YJ grill that I started (almost 3 yrs ago) for a wall decoration. To reduce profile and safe weight, I drilled the spot welds and removed the "face" from the structure. It's quite light and maybe 4" thick.

I have been on the lookout for a chrome overlay that someone was selling but no luck so far. This was free so I'm going to figure something out with it.

Was just contemplating whether I move from the couch to mount this then saw this thread. Needless to say it’s not getting mounted now.

It will go in place of these pictures and they will get relocated.

I don’t think is the YJ grill that is heavy as much as the backing built for it in that video. Does look good though.

Debated selling the overlay but my nephew’s smile at the idea of hanging it on his wall is worth more. My brother is going to rig it with lights. Will post pic when is done but he is distracted with a new toy (72 Chevelle) so might take a while.

I've got a bunch (CJ7, Jeepster Commando, CJ3b) hanging outside of my workshop although they're there more to store them out of the way than for wall decoration.

A real grille is so heavy and thick to put on the wall as a decoration so I was thinking maybe the fiberglass JL-style TJ grille overlay I did earlier this year would make a good wall hanging...

I don't have but one that I did anything with... All the others are stock for now.

Being from Colorado I painted a Colorado flag on a CJ grille that I will be giving away tomorrow for the BFH Garage youtube channel. The second pic is what I started with... It gets worse. I told my wife I'm an art collector 😂

WOW. what a garage. Cool grilles also!

There's a burger joint down the street from me, not too far from an OHV park. Called Rock City Burger Co, lots of Jeep paraphernalia as the owner is a longtime Jeeper. Here's the front of the building. (Photo credit Jose Chavez)

I have the chrome overlay from my LJ up on the wall. I intend to put a colored background behind it with working lights and a metal strip across the bottom.

I’ll stick my Jeep badge of honors to magnets and mount them on the strip under the grill.

At least that’s my current plan.

Love that garage but I bet there is a picture with even ore grills on the wall?
