Anyone drive the Mojave Road from Fort Mojave to Barstow?

How much fuel did you use?

I have two 5 gal Nato cans on my spare tire rack just not sure if it is enough with a full tank of fuel to do the 138 miles.

You won't be in 4Lo that much on that road so that seems to be way more than enough.

Doesnt look like much more than a sandy dirt road. I'd say a tank is plenty

Several years ago I ran that trip with a group and we slept out a couple nights.
My '98 XJ held about 20 gallons and I brought an extra 5 gallon Jerry can just to make sure.
The trail has changed a little due to mother nature according to some friends that explored it recently.
Most of the trail can be done in 2WD depending upon how your Jeep is set up.
You can probably do the trail on a full tank with a few gallons from the extra Jerry cans.
I would plan to bring both Jerry cans just in case someone else needs the fuel.
