Hi All---long time 'lurker', first time poster. I have a 2000 Sport which had a very loud Flowmaster knockoff muffler according to PO. I was hoping for a little less noise at highway speeds and so I replaced it with a Dynomax Super Turbo Muffler. It it much improved, however, does anyone recommend another replacement? This one seems to still have a bit of a drone on the highway, but does have a nice low rumble at idle. What is best replacement for stock sound without spending the money for Mopar? Note, I had a previous 2000 Sahara about 15 yrs ago and it had a Flowmaster (not sure which model) which I really liked---not too loud at highway, nice rumble at idle. Note both jeeps were/are soft tops so no hard top to mask sound on either. Also note, I just completed the Noico sound mat and insulation with bedrug carpet on the interior.... Muffler Replacement 2000 Sport

I have used several of the stock direct replacements from Walker in their SS line and they were decent but in the end it only has SS internals and two have corroded from the outside in. Last fall during my frame replacement I sourced a new stock replacement muffler at NAPA and the have a real SS muffler for a fair $ and as it turns out the muffler was made by Walker but all SS for about the same price, go figure. It looks to be a very stout well made item.
