Hi All,
Looking for some advice here as to whether I should get an Antirock or not as the last upgrade for my TJ. I have quick disconnects already and have only ever disconnected once and that wasn't necessary. However, the reason I built out the TJ like this is we spend a month or two down in around Nevada, Arizona, California...and specifically a couple weeks in Moab every year. I've always just mountain biked and dirt biked the area, but my wife has decided she likes 4 wheeling better than 2 wheeling now
Then Covid hit and thus the Jeep has never been to these areas with its new upgrades.
I believe my TJ is 99.9% done with the following list.
ARBs in front 30/44 rear. Skids on LCA, diffs, oil, steering. Tub mounted rock rails. Rancho 5000x shocks. 30.5 x 9.8 tires. 3.73 gearing so won't go any bigger. 4.0 6 spd. Remote controlled air bags front (for the plow) and rear (for all the crap we carry in the back while traveling). Interestingly I can get a 2" temporary lift from the bags, which I have only ever used once for approach angle...was a simple solution rather than stacking logs
Here are the facts. The jeep will NEVER be lifted. I will not be doing a tummy tuck. It is flat towed behind my RV. It is a daily driver. I use it to plow my 1/4 mile driveway.
So to sum it all up, I am at factory clearances, most notably the trans skid plate being the lowest point. I have quick disconnects which are super easy to hook back up because I can tweak the air bags. I realize the Anti-rock is technically better, but the real question is it $700 CDN better on a stock height/stock width/stock center of gravity?
Specifically would I really appreciate it on the green and blue Moab trails over just being disconnected?
