howdy all, i noticed the light was out on the left side of my HVAC controls so im trying to change it. Not really sure how this works. Pic attached is a tiny bulb (PC74); the replacements look like they're supposed to replace the tiny bulb and not the whole apparatus. How do I remove the tiny bulb? are there other bulbs that work also?

Mopar 5183278AA for ‘05-‘06 only. The bulb cannot be removed from the housing.
You’ll need to get them from a dealer. I think I paid $5.79 per bulb a few months ago but they should last at least 10 years.
It’s a t4 neo wedge bulb. You can get LEDs but my experience is that the housing is slightly too small so they rattle loose. I tried 3 sources before going to the OE Mopar bulbs.

My local Dodge dealer quoted me $8 and change EACH for these today. All three of mine are blown, which means with absurd NY sales tax I'm looking at an almost $30 bill to be able to see my HVAC controls at night. That's nutty.
I replaced mine with these (https://www.superbrightleds.com/mor...ulb-high-power-instrument-panel-led/221/7738/) LEDs. Looks like I ordered both natural and warm white but I don't remember which are currently in it. I'd guess the warm white since the colors look like the original bulbs.
