Has anyone used SWAG Bertha raised body mounts?

Genright mounts serve the same purpose and are a few dollars cheaper.

They do however they are not boxed in like the SWAG version. However if I didn’t have a killer deal on the SWAG mounts the Barnes 4x4 version is boxed the same way for like $150. But I can pick up the SWAG version for $130 From someone that didn’t use them.

Yes, they're working quite well for me. I pulled my body mount spacers and pushed the mounts up as high as possible. Did one at a time.
I plan to do it the same way. Glad to hear they are working well. It should gain clearance, clean it up as my mounts are jacked from rocks and they shouldn’t hang up like the factory mounts do.

You really don't want them boxed if you have a choice.

What’s the reason for the boxed-in design? To protect the bolt head or act as a slider to some degree?

That is my take on the reason why. I’ve torn up the bolt heads and even the rubber mount on the rocks

Why is that? Weight? Or that they can hold moisture and mud? It seems like it would protect the bolt head and lower part of the body mount better to me. Those are the two parts I’ve destroyed other than the mounts themselves on the rocks.

Raise them with the Genright mounts and the overall height is less and more covered by the frame to rock rail shadow. You don't want something that is tough that is lower because it becomes a hang point. Right now the stock mount just folds and you keep going. Stop it from folding and you don't keep going.

Makes sense, the important part for me has been to raise the mounts over stock. Now that they're up higher I've only touched them a couple times on my local trails. I can see how the genright would be more functional by not being as strong.
