What to do with a bent or folded lower control arm bracket?

Yeah, looks thicker than stock, maybe 1/4". I think I'm gonna go with the iron rock offroad with the rockjock skids.

Post up before you cut them off and I'll walk through some tips to make it fairly easy.

Iron Rock Offroad makes the best fitting ones I've found so far. I don't like that they are 1/4" but they work very well.

Just out of curiosity, why don't you like that they are 1/4"?

Because the factory mounts are slightly thicker than 1/8" and with mini skids installed, are never an issue. Overkill would be 3/16" which makes 1/4" ridiculous.

Alright got em in. The brackets fit nicely onto the curve of the axle tube, but the skids don't quite sit squarely onto the brackets. @mrblaine what's your tips for installing these?

Hijacking this thread….. what do you think I should do about this lower front control arm bracket? Pound it back in shape with a BFH? Heat it with a MAP torch and then use the BFH? Other?
